What is this blog, what is its purpose? 

I don‘t have a particularly spectacular answer to that question.  It is a bit more than just throwing some text on the world wide web, but a bit less than the end-all be-all technical blog, maybe something in between?

Initially it is to provide a place for myself and other developers of RisingTide.tech to blog about the topics that are important to us.  There will likely be a strong technical lean to the blog, but also topics such as health and fitness; travel; and such will, I’m sure, find there way here as well.

Ideally this serves as a way to improve my writing skills, provide some education (and/or entertainment) to others, create /  record solutions to problems I’ve had (so I can find them again) and generally provide something interesting online.

I look forward to seeing where this takes me and how the blog takes shape over time.  I welcome any and all feedback and hopefully we can produce something of interest here.
